On Windows 7 and Windows 8 the default skin for Windows Media Player overlays the playback controls on top of the playback window, much like many Flash or HTML5 player skins. Adobe is currently investigating what appears to be the inappropriate use of an Adobe code signing certificate for Windows. We plan to revoke the impacted certificate on October 4, 2012 for all software code signed after July 10, 2012.
A brand new LEVA course has been designed by and will be taught by two highly respected members of the FVA community: George Reis and Jimmy Schroering. "AUTOMATION FOR FORENSIC VIDEO ANALYSTS: From Photoshop to Scripting" will be conducted in the LEVA Lab this December 17 - 20 and again May 20 - 23. 2013.

We announced a major update to Adobe Creative Cloud at our MAX Creativity Conference on May 6th and as we gear up to ship this release of Creative Cloud in a few weeks, we’d like to update the community on the feedback we’ve been getting.
The new Media-Geek site layout is more intuitive (I hope) and accessible, and it should also load faster in your browser. Sure there are a few little scripting bugs to hunt down and squash, but for the most part the site seems to be functioning in all modern browsers. I hope you find the new layout an improvement.
Did you know you can make your profile public? By default profiles are private and only accessible to members who are logged in to the site, but if you want you can make yours available to the general public. Check out your profile privacy settings more (Click on Community to go to the Community main page, then select "Privacy" from the Profile menu option.
